Homework

Each week your child will bring their book bag home containing a homework pack. This will have activities to consolidate the weeks phonics learning and some Maths, English or topic work.

In their book bag they will have:

Phonics reading book

In school we use the Floppy Phonics Reading Scheme.

The children take a book home each week to match their phonics reading level. Book bags should be brought into school everyday. The teacher will hear the children read and the book bag should return home.

Please make sure that all letters or pictures are removed from the book bag so that the reading book can be easily found.

Books are checked when they are returned to school. Please make sure you take good care of the books and they are returned in good condition.

Things to remember:

Bring your book bag everyday.

Read with your child everyday.

PE

Your child must wear sensible shoes on the days of their PE sessions. They have PE lessons twice a week.
