Make it, Grow it, Eat it, is a whole school project. Children were challenged to make a plant pot by recycling or reusing a container. Each child made their own plant pot and planted something to take home. Classes were also challenged to make a class planter for the school playground. During the week children and staff had the opportunity to work with a science ambassador. Children learned about where food comes from and the different parts of a plant. They looked at some different fruits and vegetables and the different parts that can be eaten.
